Students congratulate Ms. Irina B. Cherepovskaya, Assistant Professor of Russian School for International Students, on the successful presentation of the Candidate dissertation (Pedagogy) on "Theory and Methods of Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language" specialty.

The presentation took place on February 9, 2005 at Pushkin State Russian Language Institute (Moscow). The topic of the dissertation was "Online Schoolbook for Short-Term Courses on Russian as a Foreign Language (Advanced Level)".

FENU Law Institute - Seattle University School of Law joint videoconference awarding ceremony

On March 2, 2005 a videoconference was held between FENU Law Institute and Seattle University School of Law on awarding certificates of completion of International Humanitarian Law and Law of War, taught by Prof. Frederick M. Lorenz to four Russian students. Both parties expressed their interest to continue this course and develop additional courses next year.
